Fifth Annual "Shop with a Cop" Event a Success

Officers from the Raleigh Police Department helped create a little more holiday cheer in the lives of children by hosting the department’s fifth annual “Shop with a Cop” event. Children from throughout the city were selected to participate in the program, which is co-sponsored by Walmart and General Mills.  Each child received a $100 gift card and was paired with an officer to help them purchase gifts for their family members. The event took place on Saturday, December 18, at the Walmart at New Hope Church Road.
