Raleigh Police Department detectives have arrested Ronald Steven Earl Gaither (DOB 5/8/88). Gaither has been charged with one count each of first degree burglary, common law robbery, and larceny of a motor vehicle. The burglary and robbery charges are related to the home invasion that occurred yesterday at 4901 Wallingford Dr. The larceny charge is related to the GMC Envoy that was involved in wreck a short time after the crime on Wallingford Drive.
Gaither turned himself in a short time ago. He will be transported to the Wake County Jail for processing.
The investigations concerning yesterday’s incidents remain underway and are progressing.
