Shortly after 7 p.m. February 25, Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a sex offense call at the Wal-Mart store at 4431 New Bern Ave.
The investigation of the case identified the male seen in the attached surveillance photo as the suspect who inappropriately touched a 36-year-old female shopper in the store. The suspect fled from security personnel and was able to escape after the incident.
The crime appears to be a random act.
