Raleigh Police Seek Suspect in Early Morning Robbery

The Raleigh Police Department detectives are working to identify and arrest the armed suspect seen in the attached surveillance photo.

Shorty after midnight last night, the suspect entered the Good Luck Sweepstakes at 3308 Capital Blvd. The suspect approached a store employee, displayed a handgun, announced the robbery, took cash, and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a heavyset, bearded black male with a dark skin tone who stands about 6 feet tall. He was wearing the red-and-black checkered button-up shirt, khaki trousers, and baseball cap seen in the surveillance photo. The dark-colored cap had the letter C on its front and a red bill.
