At 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, the Raleigh Police Department will conduct the largest promotional ceremony in the department's history. The department will promote one captain, 21 lieutenants, 49 sergeants and 40 detectives. The ceremony will be held in the Memorial Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center.
