At approximately 1:00 p.m. today, officers responded to call at 3253 Calumet Drive. When officers arrived, they located a male on scene who was subsequently transported to Wake Med for treatment of injuries that he received before RPD officers arrived. Officers then discovered a female deceased inside the residence. An investigation of the death is underway. The names of the male and female are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Additional information will be provided as the investigation progresses.
