Raleigh Police Department detectives have charged Walt Christopher Best (DOB 2/15/73) with one count of strong-arm robbery in connection with Friday's robbery of the Bank of America on Oberlin Road. Best was located and was transported to the Wake County Jail. Information received from the public as a result of media distribution of surveillance photos from the bank was helpful in identifying Best as the robbery suspect.
