Raleigh Police Department Homicide Squad detectives have charged William Damieon Edwards (DOB 1/1/68) with murder in connection with the death of Jay Waheed Ammeri. Edwards was taken into custody at his residence, 7308 Great Laurel Dr. He has been transported to the Wake Jail County.
