Detectives Seek Identities of Suspects Believed to be Involved in Multiple Commercial Burglaries

The Raleigh Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance as it works to identify, locate and arrest the multiple suspects believed to be responsible for a recent pattern of commercial burglaries targeting electronic items. The stolen items have included stereo components, flat screen televisions, videogame consoles, and laptop computers. Victim businesses have included electronic equipment stores and rental companies.

While the suspects have worn masks to hide their appearances, it is hoped that the clothing worn by some of them might be recognizable to members of the public who may have seen them at some point (see surveillance photos above).

The suspects have used stolen vehicles to commit the crimes, and in some of the cases have used those vehicles to smash their way into businesses. Each of the crimes was been committed during the early morning hours.

Commonalities existing among the cases below suggest that they may have been committed as part of the burglary pattern.
