Shooting Call - Slippery Elm Drive

At about 3:40 p.m. today, Raleigh Police Department personnel responded to the vicinity of Southeast Raleigh High School in response to a reported shooting. Investigative information indicates the incident occurred off campus near the intersection of Creech Road and Slippery Elm Drive. The victim, Tevin Bunn, 17 – who went to the high school after the shooting to seek assistance – was transported to WakeMed with a nonlife-threatening injury. The investigation of the incident is underway.
