RPD Needs Help in Identifying Robbery Suspects


Suspect 1
Raleigh Police Department detectives are seeking public assistance as they work to identify, locate and arrest two suspects in connection with a robbery.

Both suspects
During the early morning hours of Dec. 7, the suspects got into a taxi cab in the 6200 block of Capital Boulevard. When the cab driver took them to their specified destination – the 1100 block of Lehman Lane – one of the suspects thrust an unknown weapon against the side of the driver, and the other suspect took the driver’s money. The suspects then fled on foot.

Suspect 1 is described as a black male in his teens with a thin build who stands about 5 feet 6-7 inches tall. His hair was worn in short twists.
Suspect 2

Suspect 2 is described as a black male in his teens to 20s with a thin build who stands about 6 feet 0-2 inches tall. He was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with “DUKE” on its front. At one point before the crime, he was carrying a light-colored plaid backpack.
