RPD Seeks to Identify Two Suspects in Connection with Armed Robberies

Raleigh Police Department detectives are seeking public assistance as they work to identify, locate and arrest the two suspects seen in the four attached surveillance photos.

Between shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1 and 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, the suspects are believed to be responsible for the two armed robberies and one attempted armed robbery detailed below.

  • Dec. 1, 11:08 p.m.-Attempted Robbery at America’s Best Value Inn, 3401 Capital Blvd.   
  • Dec. 1, 11:45 p.m.-Robbery at Microtel Inn, 1209 Plainview Dr.   
  • Dec. 2, 12:30 a.m.-Robbery at Korner Pocket Bar, 8508 Capital Blvd.

Suspect 1 is a white male with a thin build who stands about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with a logo on its front. The suspect was reported to have decayed teeth.

Suspect 2 is a black male with a thin build who stands about 5 feet 9-10 inches tall. He was wearing dark clothing.


A handgun was displayed in each of the crimes.
