RPD Seeks to Identify and Arrest Internet Sweepstakes Robbers

The Raleigh Police Department is seeking assistance as it works to identify and arrest the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at an Internet sweepstakes business at 3801-121 Hillsborough St. The crime took place at about 5 a.m. on April 12. An employee and a customer were in the store at the time, and the suspect struck the employee with a handgun during the robbery. The employee escaped serious injury.

The suspect, who is seen in the attached surveillance photos, was last observed running away in an eastwardly direction. It is not known at this time if a vehicle was involved in commission of the crime.
 
The suspect is described as a black male of unknown age with a medium build who stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing the dark clothing and cap seen in the surveillance photos, and he had a moustache.
