At approximately 4:45 p.m. yesterday, Raleigh Police officers responded to a shooting call concerning an incident that occurred outdoors in the 3800 block of Rolling Green Court.
Upon arrival, the officers located a 16-year-old male victim, who was declared deceased at the scene.
There is a possibility that a vehicle that may have been involved in the shooting incident was driving recklessly near the scene. Some reports indicate that vehicle may have cut off or nearly collided with another vehicle at or near the intersection of Rolling Green Court and New Hope Road. Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed the traffic-related aspects that could be connected to the case.
