Raleigh Police Department detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect seen in the attached surveillance photo. At approximately 7 a.m. March 29, the suspect entered the BP store at 2750 S. Wilmington St. and approached the counter as if to make a purchase. When the clerk opened the register, the suspect shoved the clerk and stole cash from the register.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male in his forties who stands between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. After committing the robbery, he reportedly fled from the scene in a dark colored car.
