Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the robberies outlined in the previous post below. The arrests were made following an attempted robbery Tuesday night at the BP Family Fare store at 2120 New Bern Ave. The attempted robbery occurred just before 11 p.m. when two male suspects wearing masks entered the business but aborted the robbery when a store employee managed to flee.

  • Antonio Rashad Dovine (DOB 2/3/90); and,
  • Erika Ciara McClarin (DOB 1/25/88).

  • Three counts of armed robbery (for the three hotel/motel cases in the table below); and,
  • Three counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery (for the same three crimes).

As detectives conducted follow-up investigative work, two additional suspects were taken into custody and charged yesterday:

  • Tyquon Devoeta Meggett (DOB 10/18/92); and,
  • Jessie James Vickers, IV (DOB 11/17/91).
