Request for Assistance - Attempted Rape

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, an attempted rape occurred in the 4900 block of Pebble Beach Drive.

The victim reported that she awoke to find an unknown suspect on top of her. She struggled with the suspect and managed to break free of him. The suspect then fled at the residence. He was last seen running toward Hollenden Drive.

The suspect is described as a black male with a light skin complexion. He is said to have a slender build and to stand approximately 5 feet 6-7 inches tall. The suspect had a beard and moustache, and he was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and dark shorts. He may be in his 30s or older.
