RPD Detectives Search for Bank Robbery Suspect

Shortly after 9:30 a.m. today, the suspect seen in the attached photo entered the Crescent State Bank at 7100 Creedmoor Road, passed a robbery note to a teller and fled after the teller complied with the note’s demands.

The suspect is described as a black male who stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs an estimated 215 pounds. He was wearing a white button-up shirt, along with black pants and shoes and a black cap. He also wore eyeglasses with plastic frames. The suspect had a beard or goatee that can be seen in the photo. He was last seen on foot eastbound on Sawmill Road.
