RPD Seeks to Identify, Locate and Arrest Suspects in String of Robberies

The Raleigh Police Department is seeking to identify, locate and arrest the three suspects seen in the attached surveillance photos in connection with four robberies that have occurred since Sept. 15. All of the crimes have occurred at motels or hotels and involved robberies from persons, not the businesses.
  • At approximately 10:30 p.m. Sept. 15, officers responded to a robbery call at 4810 Bluestone Dr.
  • At approximately 3:45 a.m. Sept. 20, officers responded to a robbery call at 2610 Westinghouse Blvd.
  • At approximately 4:30 a..m. Sept. 22, officers responded to a robbery call at 3531 Wake Forest Rd.
  • At approximately 12:30 a.m. Sept 27, officers responded to a robbery call at 6209 Glenwood Ave.

In each of the cases, the suspects have been armed or have implied they had weapons. It’s believed that at least one additional suspect was involved in some of the cases.

Limited suspect descriptive information is available, and the surveillance photos likely provide the best opportunities for identification.

Suspect 1 is described as a heavy-set black male who may be in his 30s.

Suspect 2 is a tall, slender black male who is said to be in his 20s to 30s.

The third suspect is described as being a heavy-set black female.

Anyone who believes they may recognize any of the three suspects is asked to call Raleigh CrimeStoppers at (919) 834-HELP. CrimeStoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
