Detectives Make Arrest in 2007 Homicide

After extensive investigative work by Raleigh Police Department homicide detectives, Montez Antonio Stevons (DOB 7/27/87) has been indicted in connection with the Dec 12, 2007, murder of Albert Louis Imes. Stevons is currently serving an active sentence for an unrelated crime and is in the custody of the N.C. Department of Correction. It is expected he will be transported in the near future to Raleigh, where he will be served with indictments for murder and armed robbery in connection with the Somerset Road incident.
