Raleigh Police Trying to Identify Robbery Suspect

Shortly after 8 p.m. on May 16, Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a robbery call at a Subway restaurant at 1705 Lake Wheeler Rd.

The suspect in the case is seen in the attached surveillance photos. He is described as black male with a thin build who stands approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. The suspect, who may be in his 20s, was wearing a dark colored shirt, light-colored shorts and a mask that may have been fashioned from an article of clothing.

The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in a grayish or light blue four-door sedan. The vehicle may have been a Hyundai.
