Shortly before 11:30 p.m. yesterday, Raleigh Police Department officers and detectives responded to a shooting call at 3104-D Calumet Dr. The victim, who was in the apartment at the time he was shot, was transported to WakeMed for treatment of a gunshot wound to his torso. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending confirmation.
The investigation of the case remains underway.
