Raleigh Police Search of Missing Person

The Raleigh Police Department is attempting to locate James Buford, a 78-year-old white male who walked away from a group home at 7000 Three Bridges Cir. in northwest Raleigh. A photo is attached.

Buford is described as standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds. He was wearing tan pants and gray shoes and amber "blue blocker" sunglasses when he was last seen at the home about 7 a.m. today. Buford is known to have dementia or other age-related cognitive impairments.

Anyone who believes they may know Buford's whereabouts or believes they may have seen him since his disappearance is asked to dial 911 or the RPD tip line at (919) 834-HELP.
