Raleigh Police Department detectives and crime analysts have noted similarities indicating the suspects responsible for the Peace Street robbery that was the subject of the Nov. 4 release below could be responsible for five additional crimes.
The potentially related cases are:
- Robbery, 10/26, 11:09 p.m.; Papa John’s located at 5260 Capital Blvd.
- Robbery, 10/31, 11:45 p.m.; Peace Street Market located at 804 W. Peace St.
- Attempted Robbery, 11/6, 1:15 a.m.; Exxon located at 4301 New Bern Ave.
- Robbery, 11/6, 1:39 a.m.; Circle K located at 2400 Spring Forest Rd.
- Robbery, 11/6, 9:52 p.m.; Domino’s Pizza located at 4339 Falls of Neuse Rd.
- Robbery, 11/8, 8:59 p.m.; Sophie’s Deli located at 3130 Integrity Dr.
A combination of long guns and handguns have been displayed during the crimes.
The suspects are uniformly described as black males who stand approximately 6 feet tall. In most instances, the weight of one of them has been estimated at 200-240 pounds. Bulky jackets have made it difficult for some victims to determine body types. It’s possible the second suspect may weigh approximately 170-180 pounds.
The suspects have taken steps to disguise their identities – typically with bandanas. The distinctive blue jacket worn by one of the suspect during the Oct. 31 Peace Street crime is again noted. In addition, a third surveillance photo from that crime is attached showing the second suspect wearing a black “puffy” jacket.
Also attached are photos from the Oct. 26 Papa John’s robbery and the Nov. 6 Circle K robberies.
