Suspect Arrested in Fatal Hit and Run

The Raleigh Police Department today arrested Joseph Daniel Rechel (DOB 3/22/56) and charged him with felony hit-and-run in connection with this incident. Rechel has been transported to the Wake County Jail. The investigation of the case is continuing, and its findings will be presented to the Wake County District Attorney's Office.
